Coming soon from Quokka - A bold, new, all-Australian wooded spirit, the...

Bush-Ranger's Ballad

In development and coming soon ...

Quokka’s proprietary system of technical maturation delivers a spirit ‘equivalent’ to spirits traditionally barrelled for 18+ years. We (Craig and Joscelyn) get a real kick out of watching the reactions as spirit drinkers discover how good a spirit can be without the need to be sequestered away for 20 years.

The Bush-Ranger’s Ballad has a flavour profile, mouth-feel, complexity, and vibrancy that re-defines what Aussies can expect from a spirit.

Made on all-new toasted and charred American White Oak, European (French) White Oak, and Red Oak, the Bush-Ranger’s Ballad is a crafted merging together of each wood’s unique characteristics to this all-Australian spirit.

Bush-Ranger’s Ballad’s flavour profile will be familiar to high-end bourbon drinkers and appealing to those who find the ‘funkiness’ of grain-based bourbons too off-putting. It’s character mixes perfectly at all levels of occasions, and is equally happy by a camp-fire – solo or with friends –  or in a 5 star restaurant

At first sip, civilised wood notes of vanilla, cherry, cinnamon and pepper sit right behind that distinct woody flavour of prime oak, competing with an amazingly smooth mouth-feel for your attention.

Mid sip, you find the earthy undertones of wood and sweet forest working behind the initial rush of flavours.

The follow through remains clean, crisp and clear, allowing the palate to muse over the flavours as they stay true right to the end.

Like all Quokka Pure spirits, all Ballads are suitable for vegans and most dietary intolerances.
